Sammy moved to the DMV a couple years ago, and has really appreciated the community that KhushDC provided during that transition (and during the isolation of the pandemic). She is excited to support the community at all the levels KhushDC works at, from interpersonal support to social events to advocacy. Sammy loves exploring new ideas and places, bringing people together, and creating systems and spaces where people can be their best selves - when she's not solving word puzzles, hiking/kayaking/skiing/trying out some new hobby, you can usually find her co-facilitating our monthly Queer South Asian Book Club!
